Do you live in joy?
With everything happening in our world today, many people wonder if living in joy is even possible. Yet perhaps joy is not something reserved for perfect circumstances. Perhaps it is something we are meant to cultivate regardless of what surrounds us.
Imagine for a moment what our world might feel like if more people chose joy, compassion, and gratitude. Joy has a ripple effect. When we raise our own energy, we naturally bring more peace, kindness, and healing into the spaces around us.
Many people do not realize how deeply our thoughts and emotions influence our experience of life. Consider everything in terms of energy and frequency. These are the famous words often attributed to Nikola Tesla:
"If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency, and vibration."
We are like magnets. What we consistently think, feel, and focus upon influences the experiences we attract and the energy we share with others. Every emotion carries a frequency, and every day we are contributing something to the world around us.
So, what frequency are you living on?
Most people move through life unaware of their emotional state or the power they hold within themselves. Yet we are creative beings with the ability to shape our inner world—and that inner world influences how we experience the outer one.
Living in happiness and joy does not mean ignoring pain or pretending negativity does not exist. It means acknowledging reality while consciously choosing where to place our focus. What we focus on often grows stronger in our awareness.
Focus on what is good in your life.
And if you feel there is nothing good to focus on, I understand that feeling, because I have been there, begin with hope. Imagine something better. Hold the feeling of possibility. Sometimes healing begins with the willingness to believe that brighter days can exist.
Too often we focus on what is missing, what is unfair, or what we fear. This keeps us emotionally tied to lack and frustration. Becoming aware of our thoughts and emotions allows us to redirect our energy toward what we love, appreciate, and desire to create.
Today, many people are struggling under rising costs and financial pressure. These concerns are real. But while frustration may be understandable, constant complaining rarely creates solutions. Instead, it can keep us emotionally anchored in discouragement and fear.
As actor and singer Doris Day once said:
"Complaint is poverty. Gratitude is riches."
Gratitude does not deny hardship. It helps us meet hardship with a different energy, one that opens the door to resilience, creativity, and hope.
When we shift our awareness beyond the worries of the human experience and reconnect with the wisdom of the soul, something powerful begins to happen. Our energy shifts. We remember that we are more than our circumstances, and from that place we often discover strength we did not know we possessed.
Joy is not selfish. Joy is healing.
When each of us takes responsibility for our inner energy, thoughts, and actions, we contribute to a more compassionate and conscious world. Change begins within and moves outward.
Remember—joy is your spiritual birthright.
